  Birth year data conflicting: His WWI Draft Registration Card, which hepersonally filled out, states 1882. The online source Index to BirthRecords of Marion County 1882-1920 Inclusive Volume III Letters M-R.Ancestry.com. date is 1883. The 1900 census says 1882.
  In 1900 he was living at home with Cass and Minnie, brothers Will andHarold, and working as a nickle plater, but had been unemployed for 6months.
  9/12/1918: His WWI Draft Registration Card states that he worked as afireman in (W. Clinton Street) Frankfort, IN. He was then living withhis wife Eathel at 605 Delphi Ave., Frankfort, IN. He describedhimself as of medium build, brown eyes and black hair.
  Marriage record shows his birth year as 1882.
