This cemetery is on the north side of State Road 32, souteast ofFarmland. Maxville was started in 1824 for an infant Robinson McIntire. The entry to the cemetery was off the Maxville Road at Farmland. Theold church stood in the back southwest corner. The maps and recordswere destroyed by a fire in the first church. Woodlawn started across the Street from the Maxville cemetery in 1873.Woodlawn bought the Maxville cemetery when it grew up in weeds, andafter the second church was removed Woodlawn ploted the last eightrows for burial. This addition was called southside and some called it the old churchyard. This cemetery has a full time care-taker living on site. There is alsoa cemetery office with records.
