 The Rev. War App's indicate that Samuel, Betsey and Hannah were siblings and children of Isaac Van Norman (etc.). William was also mentioned in the app., but I never received a page that stated his actual connection.....
 There are two baptismal records that list Isaac and Mary as parents:

 Some time in 1781 Captain Franklin's company was incorporated into the Connecticut Militia, and became the First Company of the Fifth Regiment. In the Winter of 1781-'82 the company was constituted as follows, as shown by a muster-roll found among the papers of Christopher Hurlbut of Hanover Township, and first published in 1887 in Johnson's "Historical Record," I : 211.
