 Linda Noggle to Vannorman
Hi All, Went to Archives today found the following on Jacob VanAerman- who served in Co B 49th Wisconsin Infantry during Civil war. Servedfrom 2/11/1865 - 11/1/1865.
He filed for pension and later his widow filed for pension.
 694.017 503.610
 631.297 442.437
He was married to Flora E. Simes (Sims) on 12/9/1875 Mt. Morris,Wisconsin by Ira Parker
Their marriage record indicated I could not read Flora's parents namesvery well - it was Wm. D. Banker - maybe Barley or something like that- sorry
 Mother was J.W. Banker
Indicated Jacob was born in Guilderland, Albany, New York and hisparents were J.I. Vanaernam - not sure about the I
 and E. Vanaernam.
Flora had been previously married to WIlliam F. Sims and was divorced from him on 11/22/1875 - Waushara County, Wisc
 They had a son Elmer.
Jacob had also been previously married to Mary Ann Cady - married to her on 2/19/1852 and divorced from her in Waushara Co., Wisconsin on 12/10/1874.
Jacob died 2/22/1896 at the Veterans Home in Waupaca, Wisconsin
and Flora died there also in 1899. She had been receiving pension money - last paid April 1899 - think she died about 10/1899.
Jacob and Flora had a daughter Sarah E. that was born 6/22/1882
  Depositions from various people
Abram Vanaerman from Amboy, Blue Earth, Minnesota gave deposition in1896 - he was 57 at this time.
He stated that "he has known Jacob having lived together from birth"
Also a Lina Winge gave deposition that she knew the couple as sheacted as nurse at Sarah's birth.
