 Jan dirk & Elizabeth are buried at the farm of Oakley Crounse in the old farm grave yard. The graveyard is (at that time,) protected and preserved by the owner of the farm, Mr. John Crounse. They located south of Altamont around 1750.

 A Mormon researcher from Salt Lake City, Utah did most of the research on this Van Arnhem family. Carol Holderby researched Que. She is a descendent of Ransom Van Orman who settled in the Port Huron, Michigan area.
