John & Rachel (Vanornum VA) Russell who arr'd in Clear Lake Twp with six sons and two daughters in 1836 from Richland Co, OH. They arebur'd in Lake Ann Cem.- seeking death dates about 1849.
I am descended from their son Hiram who marr'd Annis Marie Goodwin inSteuben Co. in 1837. Their marriage is in the county's first bookwhich I found in the basement of the courthouse in Angola severalyearsago.(Also, on their Donation Land Claim in Lane Co., OR). I'd likemore information on Annis' parents who I think were Aaron B. &Mary(Barnard) Goodwin of Fremont.
Thank you so much for your help, Dee Doyle, Fresno,CA
1820 Perry, Richland Co., OH; liv next to Heman Vanornum.
  From Steuben Co. In. History,
John and Rachel Russell were buried in the Burying Ground Cemetery , Clear Lake Twp.
Also buried there were Erastus Brown and members of the Burroughs family. This cemetery is not listed in the Steuben Co. Cemetery Books by Audree Lewis, it is located on private property, now grown over with trees and brush.
"...there once was a cemetery near Lake Anne (which is close to that mill build by David Sines), originally called Burying Ground
Cemetery, which cemetery was plowed over in the 1940's."
