Note: If someone has examined the orginal sources here, perhaps the confusion co uld be cleared up.
I would hazard a guess that inferences were drawn based on legal documen ts and perhaps mother's and daughter's names were somehow similar or other wise confused. If the Batte cards on the Ravenscrofts had not somehow be en misplaced, perhaps it would be easier for me to clarify the mystery sur rounding this lady.
I would welcome comment from knowledgeable researchers.
