a. Note:   s wife and possibly a sister or other female in-law. According to this census, there are more children than what I previously had accounted for; therefore, the others are unknown. It is also assumed that James P was not living with his father, as he was married in 1830, but is not listed as a separate household in the census.
  My theory on this 1830 Census is that his brother Thomas L and wife Emily with their two daughters lived with Richard & Lucy, which would account for the extra children and two adults in the HH.
