Note: t was in his old age, and there were probably no children from the union. I have found no record of John W Hamersley ever marrying "Bessie Shearer". He is present in his sisters HH in Falling River in 1920 & 1930, listed as single. I have deleted this marriage, as I feel it was erroneously reported, and have found no proof that it ever occurred.
