Note: Conscripted 9 Jun 1862, in Campbell County, VA into Company I (The Campbell County Rangers), 2nd Regiment of Virginia Cavalry. He was the only one of the Tweedys to surrender at Appomattox, VA, on 09 Apr1965. He was separated from his company at the time.
