a. Note:   Henry Brizendine was the son of Randolph and Caty---. Randolph's will (WB18, Page 388 dated 31 Dec. 1814 probated 19 May, 1817 lists wife Caty and sons Henry, Thomas, John and grandson Churchill.
 According to the Essex County ORDER BOOK 47, Page 398, in Court November 1830, Henry was arrested for shooting and maining the horse of Eldred Howerton... "the said Henry Brizendine being an evil disposed person." This comment was from the evidence diposition. Apparently my ancestor was not a very well liked person and was often arrested for fighting and excessive alcohol consumption.
