Note: Cemetery notes and/or description: This cemetery is on private property and is a family graveyard. Location is at the top of the mountain on the Gibson(Sprouse) Homeplace. There is no street address but Gibson Hollow Lane (off of State Route 637) goes all the way to the top of the mountain. The road is a rough country lane with the last half mile going up to the cemetery not passable by car. There are few grave markers. Most have rocks placed at the burial sites. People's names buried there have been passed down by family members. The property was purchased in 1845 by Zachariah Sprouse and left to Betsy Sprouse at his death. Betsy's daughter, Mary Frances married Abraham Gibson and thus the property became the Gibson Homeplace.
