Notes
a. Note:   Caterina Guagliardi was married twice. First marriage was to Antonio Massiano. There were at least 2 children born of this marriage-Frank Massiano & Nicolo Massiano. In the 1930 Federal Census these two boys were living in Catholic Protective Services in the Bronx.
In the US Federal Census for Delaware-Wilmington City, Newcaste County, Enumeration District 2-69, Supv District 1, Sheet 7A we find Catherine Guagliardi married to her second husband, Joseph Pepe (spelled Peppe in the Census and Pappe in the Census Index) age 30, alien, date of immigration 1920, married age 22, born Italy, working as a Laborer in a Leather Factory. They reside there with son Thomas age 11, son Anthony age 6, son John age 3, and daughter Philomena age 1+ 11 mos. Since son Thomas was born in New York prior to 1920, he may be a Massiano. But I think his age is wrong is the census making him a Pepe. Catherine was 21 when she married Joseph. She is listed as an alien, born Italy, immigrated 1905.
