a. Note:   This Cornelius had 3 wives according to the book "History of New Paltz, New York and Its Old Families from 1678 to 1820" by Ralf (Ralph) Lefevre. Can only assume at this time (27 Nov. 2000) that the information is connected to our Cornelius based on the names and the information we found on the 1850 census. Need to find the definitive connection between Daniel DuBois and this particular DuBois such as a birth certificate for Daniel (15 Apr 1828). This requires town records or church records. Daniel was born in Olive, New York according to his death certificate but that remains to be seen. Living with Daniel DuBois (son) in 1880 Census, age listed as 92 at that time 08 Jun 1880.
  Is Father of our Daniel DuBois. Confirmation from DuBois Family Association's Catherine Smith, Secretary.
  Was originally buried in Presbyterian Church of Marlborough's Cemetery and subsequently moved to Cedar Hill Cemetery along with 3 wives.
