Note: She grew up in Newark, New Jersey and moved to Montclair after her marriage. She lived at 408 Highland Ave., Upper Montclair, NJ for 45 years. Moved to Sparta, NJ in 1979. She was a graduate of Wheaton College in Massachusetts, she did post-graduate studies in music and voice at New York University. She was a former member of the Junior League of Montclair and the Union Congratational Church, and the Montclair Country Club. She also belonged to Lake Vallhalla near Boonton, NJ. She enjoyed golf, contract bridge, the opera and symphony in New York. She read American and British literature. She created a lovely rock garden in back of the house on Highland Ave. She was a homemaker who devoted her time and attention to her two children: Barbara and Donald
