Note: Funeral notice from: The "Sussex Independent" of 12/31/1909: "Mrs. Abram S. Canfield. Mrs. Mary A. Canfield, wife of Abram S. Canfield, who died at her home in Newark last Thursday, after a long illness, was born sixty-one years ago in Branchville, being a daughter of the late Gabriel and Mary Adams. Mrs. Canfield was a member of Pride of the Juniors Council, Daughters of Liberty, of Newark. She leaves, besides her husband, three sons, Gabriel, Alfred and Abram Canfield, and a sister, Mrs. G. W.
