a. Note:   Earl and Mary were married at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church by Rev. William L. Katz (Lehigh Co. marriage license #76553).
  Earl served in the 25th Infantry Division in the US Army during WW II and
 participated in the campaigns of Guadalcanal and the Northern Solomons. He was
 employed as a brakeman at the Bethlehem Steel Co. in Bethlehem. In 1966 he was
 living at 913 Edgemont Ave., Palmerton, PA.
  Earl died in Palmerton Hospital and was buried in Towamensing Cemetery at St.
 John's Church. (Obit in "The Morning Call", Allentown, Saturday, 1 October
 1966, p. 11)
