  In 1900 Cora E. (Meckes) Frantz, b. Apr 1875 age 25, was living in Eldred Twp., Monroe Co., PA, with her husband, Freeman H. Frantz, b. May 1868 age 32 a carpenter, and five of their children; daughter Abbe M. Frantz b. Jul 1892 age 7, son Harry E. Frantz b. Sep 1893 age 6, son Ezra M. Frantz b. Feb 1895 age 5, daughter Mabel C. Frantz b. Aug 1897 age 2, and son Walter C. Frantz b. Jan 1900 age 4 months. All were born in PA. The census showed that Cora and Freeman had been married for 10 years.   In 1910 Cora E. (Meckes) Frantz, age 36, was living in the 1st Ward in Nazareth, Northampton Co., PA, with her husband, Freeman H. Frantz, age 42 a carpenter, and 8 of their Frantz children; daughter Abbie M. age 17, son Harry E. age 16 a machinist in a hosiery mill, son Ezra M. age 15 a knitter in a hosiery mill, daughter Mabel C. age 12, son Walter C. age 11, son Harvey F. age 9, daughter Edith J. age 7, and daughter Mazie V. age 1 year and 3 months. All were born in PA. The census showed that Cora and Freeman had been married for 19 years and that Cora was the mother of 11 children, of whom 8 were living in 1910.   In 1920 Cora E. (Meckes) Frantz, age 45 and now a widow, was living in the 1st Ward in Nazareth, Northampton Co., PA, with 7 of her Frantz children; son Ezra M. age 24 a warper in a cotton mill, son Walter C. age 20 a carpenter, son Harvey F. age 17 a carpenter, son Arlington D. age 6, son Woodrow W. age 5 years and 11 months, and daughters Edith S. age 17 and Mazie V. age 10. Also listed in Cora's household was an unidentified granddaughter (name unreadable) age 1 month. All were born in PA.   At one time Cora also lived at 829 Northampton St. in Easton, PA. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth.

 MRS. FREEMAN FRANTZ
 Mrs. Cora E. Frantz, 84, formerly of Nazareth, died this morning at the Causa Convalescent Home, Easton. Mrs. Frantz was the widow of Freeman Frantz who died in 1919.
  She was born in Dottersville, Monroe County, on April 12, 1874.
  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth.
  Surviving are six sons, Harry, Ezra, Walter, Harvey, Arlington and Woodrow, and four daughters, Mrs. Arthur Thomas, Mrs. Fred Henshue, Mrs. William Wambold, and Mrs. Henry Trach, all of the Nazareth area; a brother, Charles Getz, in Maryland; a sister, Mrs. George Heil, Kutztown R.D. 2; 35 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
  The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Knecht Funeral Home, Nazareth.
