In 1909 Cora Alice Meckes and Theodore Keiper were married at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Albrightsville by Rev. W.C.L. Lauer (Carbon Co. marriage license #8588). She lived at Fern Ridge, PA, and was a member of the Albrightsville Lutheran Church.

MRS. THEODORE KEIPER
Mrs. Cora Alice Keiper, wife of Theodore Keiper, of Fernridge, Monroe County, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Norman A. Brong, of Effort, Monroe County.
Mrs. Keiper was born in Meckesville, Carbon County, a daughter of the late Amandus and Hannah Getz Mackes. She was a member of Albrightsville Lutheran Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and daughter, are four sisters, Mrs. Robert Getz, of Albrightsville; Mrs. Anna Huseman and Mrs. Emma Serfass, both of East Mauch Chunk, and Mrs. W. S. Shoemaker, of Walnutport; three brothers, Harvey Mackes, of Gilbert; Charles Mackes, of Delaware, and John Mackes, of East Mauch Chunk, and five grandchildren.
