  Peter Brakebill applied for Revolutionary War pension while living in Monroe County Tennessee. Later he moved to Blount County Tennessee where he drew a pension until his death in 1844. His widow Catherine Brakebill applied for a pension while living in Blount County Jun 3, 1844 and died July 12, 1844.
  His wife Catherine presented a family record of their children written in German where the last name was written as Brechbirl. Children are Ladvina, Anna Marie, Gertrude, Henrich, Johanes,
