a. Note:   N6 George Hildebrand arrived in the United States with his parents in 1854 on the ship Julius at the port of Baltimore. They are found on the census for Greenup County Kentucky in 1860 and 1870. By 1880 George and his first wife Julia ___ had moved to Cooke County Texas.
  In the early part of 1911 a union Sunday school was organized at the Wildcat schoohouse, meeting in the afternoon. Then in 1915 Rev. J. A. Laney held a revival, closing it on Sept. 11 and organized a church with 10 members. Charter members of the Wildcat Methodist Church were Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Hildebrand, Maude Hildebrand, Virgil Hildebrand, Vera Hildebrand, Joseph Hildebrand, Frank Hildebrand, Ada Hildebrand, Caleb Hildebrand, Mrs. and Mrs. J. L. Burk, Ottomie Burk, Oscar Burk, Beulah Burk, Jasper Burk, Johnnie Burk, Mrs. John Patton, Lellon Brock, and Roy Price.
