a. Note:   N128 From Monzingo researcher (Barbara Prestridge): Patton siblings were Ollie Mae, Dollie Mae, John Henry, Bessie Lee, Jesse William, Olen Ato, Alexandra. Ollie married George Monzingo. They remained in her fathers house after her mother died. She raised her younger siblings along side her first three. George worked for his father-in-law until Arizona passed the homestead act. George and Ollie moved in 1909-1911. Family stories are that the Patton's were from the Carolinas and moved to Texas after Civil War.
