Note: IDA BELL'S CHILD: ETHEL HAD TOLD HER DAUGHTER THAT HER GRANDMOTHER WAS A FULL BLOODED CHEROKEE AND THAT HER NAME WAS MARY ETTA ALCORN AND HER HUSBAND'S NAME WAS WILLIAM TOMPSON. SINCE IDA BELL WAS BORN IN ARK. ABOUT 1872, WE WILL TRY THE 1880 CENSUS FOR HER AND HER PARENTS TO FIND OUT WHERE THEY ARE FROM. SEE MARY ETTA McCrary(ALCORN) 'S NOTES AND INFORMATION FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. Ben and I (Valeria) found Ida Bell Loveless buried next to her first husband, A.W. Edmundson at the Confederate Cemetery on Hwy 35 North of Hwy 6.( it is on the road with the first traffic lights after turning north (right) from Hwy 6 onto Hwy 35. Take a left at that traffic light and the cemetary is on the left with big columns and a sign that says Confederate Cemetery.) Not only is Ida Bell Loveless buried next to A. W. Edmundson , her first husband with Mother and Father on their tombstones as well, but also their son, Alfred Willis Edmundson with his wife, Bessie Mae (Richardson, Johnson) Edmundson and two of their children: Gene and Pauline in a family grave site. Note, they are buried in the middle section area, with Ida and A.W. buried near the entrance and Bessie Mae,A. W. (Alfred Willis) and their children buried in the back of the cemetery.
