NIXON AT AGE OF 81 The remains of Mrs. Hawk Nixon were interred last Thursday (March 17, 1921) at Broughton church, after funeral services conducted by Rev. R.B. Hester, the pastor. Mrs. Nixon was 81 years of age and had spent nearly all her long life in this vicinity. She had been a consistent member of the Broughton Baptist church since she was 16 years of age. Her husband died a good many years ago. She is survived by about twelve children.
