  Obituary
  Mrs. Eris Nixon Huddleston, 89, of Palmetto, GA, formerly of Talladega, AL, passed away at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on Nov. 10, 2011.
  Mrs. Huddleston was born in Roanoke, AL, on Nov. 28, 1921, the 10th of 10 children of the late B.C. and Senith Nixon.
  She was also preceded in death by her husband, M. A. (Ancy) Huddleston Jr.; her son; Marion A. Huddleston III; and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Melanie Huddleston Moates; son-in-law, Peter W. Moates - Col. USAF - Ret.; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Moates Cain (Brian), and Stephanie V. Moates; one great-granddaughter, Khloe Cain; and many nieces and nephews.
  Eris was a devoted Christian and long-time member of First Presbyterian Church in Talladega, AL, where she served as a deacon for many years. A graveside service for Mrs. Huddleston will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery in Talladega, AL, on Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. After the service, the family will meet friends and family at First Presbyterian Church on North Street in Talladega.
