Mrs. Eloise N. Harrison
Mrs. Eloise N. Harrison, 75, of Griffin, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Spalding Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Harrison was born in Upson County on Aug. 19, 1933, to the late Jim Nixon and the late Louise Peaden Nixon. Mrs. Harrison was a retired receptionist with Dr. Clark�s office.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert L. Harrison; sons, Michael Harrison of Stockbridge, and Marcus Harrison of Griffin; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Sam Nixon, Wyatt "Doc" Nixon, and Ted Nixon; lifelong friends, Chris Rosenthal and family; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends visited the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009, at the funeral home. Funeral services for Mrs. Eloise N. Harrison will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in the chapel of the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. Mark Sellers and the Rev. Benny Coggins will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
