Note: He was first married to Blanche Fisher (19 May 1873 - 31 Mar 1944 San Fernando, CA) on 4 Mar 1893 in Spokane, WA, but later divorced 11 Feb 1895. She is buried at Oakwood Memorial Cemetery, Chatsworth, CA. They had a daughter, Juanita Dawn, who died as an infant in Spokane, WA (15 Jun 1894 - 15 Sep 1894).

I could not attend th Laughbaum reunion in Crawford Co. Ohio this year. Not been able to attend any since the first one I got up which met in Seccaium Park, Crawford Co.,Ohio Aug 12, 1903.
In the spring of 1886, I taught the Olentangy School and some of your brothers and sisters went to school to me.
I noticed the old school house was still standing last march when I went by there.
