Nursery Provided A Warm Friendly People in a Lovely Old Church * From Jessie Hearle - Dec 31, 2006: Using directory assistance -- wonderful having an unusual name, I spoke with Roy G "Chick" Prestridge. He was grandson of Larkin M Prestridge. He said an old man had recently told him where his grandfather, William Prestridge was buried in an abandoned cemetery. He took me to the cemetery, and told me how to find "Miss Ida" near Weaver, Alabama. She was the daughter-in-law of Nancy Ann Prestridge Dothard. Louisa lived with Nancy til her death, and was buried just a few miles from Miss Ida. Miss Ida remembered Marks family visiting Nancy. Everyone I visited or corresponded with knew SOME family members, no one could remember all of them.
