I was unable to pull up your husband's chart. James F. "Jim" Knop is my gg grandfather and his second wife, Amanda "Mandy" was my gg grandmother. From looking at your husband's tree, he descends from Jim's first wife, Jane. My grandfather had told me that Jim Knop was buried in the Knop Cemetery in Randolph County. I am glad to know the name of the cemetery. I assume that Jim and Jane's graves are unmarked since they were not include in the survey published by Linda Ayers. I have information on Andrew Jackson Knop (Jack) and his family. I am trying to update information on Jack's brothers and sisters. I am corresponding with Mable Knopps Bishop. Let's keep in touch and I will be happy to share anything that you can use. * Subject: Knop Family Date: 6/8/04 8:33:27 PM Pacific Daylight Time From: sab@@microxl.com To: jford511@@swbell.net, VCJFreeman@@aol.com, bjb142@@netzero.net Ladies: Just wanted you all to know that I am still interested in the Knop Family. I haven't had a chance to research since last October. My first grandchild (Tanner) was born November 11, 2003. I have been doing a lot of babysitting on the weekends and during my vacation time. I think I have already told you all that I commute from Gadsden, Alabama to Birmingham, Alabama every day to work. So there is very little time during the week for genealogy. I haven't had a chance to enter any additional family information on familytree. I was wondering if anyone has found out the maiden name of James F. Knop's first wife, Jane? I hope that I can get my cousin interested in researching. He is 37, married, has two children. I think he would enjoy researching. Would like to hear from you all.
