Note: John Joyner of Greene Co, Georgia drew land in Henry Co., Georgia in the 1821 Lottery.
Henry Co., GA formed in 1821 from Indian Lands & Walton Co. The county seat is McDonough.
Clayton Co., GA formed in 1858 from Fayette Co. & Henry Co. The county seat is Jonesboro.
1830 Census--Henry Co, Georgia, pg. 249. He was 60/70 years old.
There were 3 other males: 1--15/20, 1--20/30, & 1--30/40;
and four females: 1--60/70 (wife) and 3--20/30.

I am a descendant of Capt. William Joyner--He was married to Susan Greene Grayson---their daughter married my ancestor--Richard deTreville who was born abt. 1801 & served as Lt. Gov. of South Carolina. Would be interested in sharing info. as I think that possibly there is a connection.

I have a Cornelia Matilda Joyner, daughter of Capt. William Joyner & Susan Greene Grayson who married Richard deTreville--he was Lt. Gov. for South Carolina. Am wondering if perhaps there might be a connection to your Joyner line. Thank you--Trev
