  Hi
Well I need to know what happen to Dallas Freeman
For sure I know he and Polk/Pope were brothers and my guess is Drewy Freeman which married Ann Hines was another brother because he lived near them and his children married into the same families
 Thanks

In Reply to: Re: Searching for Info on Albert Hodnett by Michelle of 418 Albert (AB) Hodnett was my uncle, and his mother Ida Belle Freeman was my grandmother. She was married to John William Hodnett. Albert was already born before she married my grandfater but took his name. Albert did move to Lawrenceville GA and later moved into Cobb county Georgia and live there the rest of his life. He worked in law enforcement. If I can answer any of your questions, I would be happy to.

  Val,
Thank you so much for responding to my e-mail.
My father was William Homer Freeman, my grandfather/mother were Arthur Dallas Freeman & Dora (Buchannan), and my greatgrandfather/mother were Dallas Freeman & Josephine Hester, and great-great grandfather/mother
would be Eli Freeman & Hepsa.
I have two first cousins who are also working on our family history (one with our aunt for several years).
I also met a distrant cousin on-line, Tammy Hunter t_hunter62@@hotmail.com who told me that Eli Freewas was buried In the Old Freeman Cemetery and that she and her mother had been to the cemetery but could not remember the owners of the property. Her mother was Barbara Spain, grandmother Evie Curtis Freeman Spain, greatgrandfather Dallas Freeman & great great Eli Freeman. She also told me that Josephine Hester Freeman is buried at Old Bethel Cemetery, Nauvoo AL (along with LeRoy Freeman). I am supposed to meet her in early June and go to Old Bethel.
How do you connect to this family?
I will definitely contact Thomas Jasper Freeman, thank you for that info. I am in Panama City, Florida
for the summer and want to do a lot of research. I live in Los Angles from September - March each year.
Once again, thank you so much and I would be available to come to Omaha and help survey the Old Freeman cemetery anytime this summer.

Sure I'll send you a link to my ancestry tree and if you can share what you have as for connections with me. . .that would be great. . .
Dallas' Daughter Emma Cordelia Freeman was my Great Grandmother. . .... Her Mother Was Francis J according to the Census. . . . . And we just recently made a possible discovery.. Someone noted on the (1870) census that they were living beside the Wilson's and that in the previous census (1860) there was a daughter the same age living with the Wilson Family..........So I am pretty Certain that this is Francis J last name.......
Emma Cordelia married Ivey C Whaley who was my great grandfather and they had William Ellis and Ezra together......William Ellis was my grandfather........His daughter Mavis Melissa (Whaley) Pearson is my mom.
How are you related to this family..?
Look forward to comparing tree's and keeping in touch........ For no doubt you are obviously connected to my family somehow.......
  Thanks for replying
 Tammy
