Note: At the time of the 1870 census they were living next to E. J. and Eliza Freeman and two houses from his parents in Rock Mills District of Randolph County. In 1880, they were in Rockalo District of Heard County, Georgia near his brother James M. and sister Eliza. In 1900, they were in Carroll County (ED 6 Sheet 28). In 1910, they were in Haralson County (ED 126 Sheet 3), had been married 42 years, Beth had given birth to eight, of whom seven were living. In 1920, they were living on Bryant Street in Bremen, Georgia (ED 126 sheet 6). His granddaughter, Willard Bentley, remembers him as being about 6' tall, straight as an arrow and very handsome. The Bonner Bible says he died 12 Mar, GA death certificate 5697-J says 13 Mar (1928).
