My Cuz has been looking for years for his parents. I have discovered a mixed up mess that is hard to figure. From census to death certs they all are mixed from Mary as mother and William and Sarah as parents. Mary E is reported to have been married to James Alexander Walton (unverified). Hint the names James 1852 and Alexander 1855/6. They were married in 1848 and he, Mr Walton, died in 1857. When you look at Mr Walton you find he was married to someone else at the same time. Mr Walton never really seemed to be in the picture in any of the history files. Alexander's death cert names William and Mary as given by Alexander's son J H Cates.
