  Hey there,
  My Great Grandfather was Hugh Poke Freeman and my grandmother was Ella Idonnie Freeman (Mamaw). She died in May 1993. Her mother was Corrine Winkle. Ella's brother was Paul, sisters - Amy, Bernice (Mutt Bennett), Williminia (Willy) and Daisy Freeman. I would love to help fill in any blanks that I know. Thank you for the information you shared. This saved me a lot of work. I'm from LaGrange GA, my mom is from Randolph county Al. Do you have any information if the Freeman's were from Ireland or which country they came from, can't seem to find anyone here who knows. My mother has a picture of him, I think from one of the family reunions around 1940. She remembers him very well.
