I do not have the name of the person who was the subject of the first pronoun in the first sentence, though it apparently was not the wife you found in the 1840 census of the Texas district of Georgia. . . . . . .have these as her children by John Freeman. I don't know if she had any kids by James McCord. I know nothing about her Boles name or McCord. The kids were James Levin Freeman my husband's gg grandfather born March 22, 1841 died April 22, 1926 and supposedly is buried in the Boaz, AL area. Mary Ann Freeman, know nothing about her, Martha T. Freeman, only have a birth date Nov. 10, 1833, Henry F. Freeman born about 1845. I have this info on her second husband John Freeman. John Freeman (may be son of Samuel Sr.) was born abt 1793 in VA and died October 12, 1859 in Randolph County, AL. Hadn't found any info on where he may be buried. He married Sarah Boles McCord May 04, 1822 in Newall, AL. John Freeman lived at one time at Walton Co., Ga. Drafted into army in War of 1812 in Lincoln Co., Ga. After war lived for 2 years in Morgan Co., GA, then moved to Walton Co., Ga. (This info from NARA Pension Records) He was drafted August 23, 1813 into the Military at Lincoln Court House, Lincoln County, GA, served until March 2, 1814 as a private in Capt. Richard's Co. of GA Militia, was in battle with Indians at Calabee Swamp. That's all I have on Sarah and John Freeman.
