  A. BARROW dies at 84
  Stella Adaline Barrow (sic. Adeline is middle name on headstone inscription), 84, died early Sunday morning at her home, 1107 S. Third. She had been in poor health since March.
  Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Kincaid will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
  Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
  Della (sic.) Adaline (sic.) BARROW was born Feb. 6, 1898, in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Ida HICKENBOTTOM McCARTY.
  Her marriage to Charles H. BARROW took place Jan. 8, 1919. He preceded her in death.
  Mrs. BARROW was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County, a member of the First Christian Church, the Rebekah Lodge, Pythian Sisters and Jolly Sisters.
  Survivors include two sons; Charles and Louis, both of Fairfield; a daughter, Velma SMITH, Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, William McCARTY, Red Bluffs, Calif., and Walter "Pete" McCARTY, Arcata, Calif.; three sisters, Arreada MICHELS, Dearborn, Mich.; Sara GAVIN, Ottumwa and Bertha RACEY, Ottumwa.
  She was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and four sisters.
