  DECEASED I hereby inform that my beloved wife HENDRIKA Mattson (HILL) died at her home in International Falls, on Sept 3, 1923. after along suffering of internal stomach illness. She was born in theparish of Sievi on January 10, 1871, and died at 52 years of age whichI am hereby announcing with sorrow to all relatives and aquaintances.She left behind besides myself five grown children, one brother inthis country, a brother and two sisters in Finland, and a largecircle of relatives and friends both in Finland and in this country.
  Rest in peace faithful wife. John Hill. Now closed has mother's tender eye, cooled her gentle heart, your voice echoes to us no more but your memory stays forever. Children: Herman, Henry, Lilia, Lyydi and Lempi.
Note:   She was known by the name of Hilda when she married John Hill. Her
d. Note:   use of 5 Lemos.
 She is buried at Forest Hills Cemetery. Section N, Plot 217 under thename of Hilda
 Hill. We believe that Plot 218 is where her Daughter Lydia is buried.The graves have no markers.
