Note: Notes my mother (Celia) had written: Tuesday Lydia arrived. Oct 15, 1923 she was taken to the hospital.
Nov 25, 1923 Lydia had an operation for a goiter.
I went to the hospital every night.
Dec 15, 1923 Lydia out of the hospital.
Dec 22, 1923 Lydia left for Anderson's farm.
Jan 14, 1924 Henry got married.
Lydia back to the hospital with convulsions on Feb 1st.
Lydia's birthday Feb 26 she is 22 years old.
Lydia passed away between 2-3pm on Mar 18, 1924.
March 23, 1924 Lydia's funeral at Int'l Falls.
April 15, I came back to Duluth.

Note: 458 Missabe Ave when she became ill. She was a Waitress at theSpaulding Hotel. She died in St. Louis County Hospital in Duluth. Shehad a Thyroidectory to remove part of her thyroid in Nov of 1923because she had Hyperthyroidism. In March of 1924, because ofcomplications, she developed congestive heart failure. She died ofacute dilatation of the right side of her heart and acute nephritiswith convulsions.
