Ellis Homer Nixon age 51, born at Haralson, GA 10-4-1893, died of accute bronchial pneumonia caused by carcinoma (sounds like lung cancer) on 10-25 44 and was buried at 4:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park on Asher Avenue in Little Rock on 10-27-44 in the Ravenna Section, Lot 180, center grave. Mary Hannah was listed as his survivor but she is not buried there. She is a lot owner but not buried there. Ellis Homer was a manager for the B.S. Avery Company in Little Rock. S.S. Bryant of Pulaski Heights Presbyterian church did the funeral. I guess Mary Hannah is who we have been calling Mary Helen. At least that is how the cemetery has her listed.
