  NIXON
  Mr. Hardy Walter Nixon, Sr.,of Dunwoody, died December 22, 1988. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. Hardy W. Nixon, Jr. and Mrs. Kathryn Nixon, Dunwoody; grandchildren, Mr. & Mrs. W. S. Haygood, Lawrenceville; Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Cunningham, Stone Mountain; Mr. and Mrs. John A. Nixon, Lavonia; five great-grandchildren. Interment services will be held Saturday, December 24 at 11 o'clock at Westview Cemetery. Chaplain John Gould will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 9 at Oglethorpe Hill. Mr. Nixon was a retired telegraph operator and towerman with Atlanta Terminal Company. H. M. Patterson & Son, 4550 Peachtree Rd.
