Funeral services for Mrs Ella Nixon Addy, 82, who died at her home near Senoia Monday night were held at the Haralson Methodist Church Wednesday morning at 11 o�clock with the Rev. J. H. Hearn and the Rev. J. E. Holbrook officiating. Burial was in Tranquil Cemetery***, with Haisten Brothers in charge. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jim Addy, of Senoia; two sons, W. H. Addy of Senoia and Glen Addy of Griffin; three daughters, Mrs Quillian Mixon of Griffin, Miss Nellie Addy of Senoia, and Mrs. Arthur Todd of Gay, and one sister, Miss Alice Horton***, of Senoia. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church. I am their only son, Murray Glenn Mixon ( B. 01 / 04 /1942 ) I married Mary Ann Mann ( B. 12 / 07 / 1939 D. 05 / 10 / 2000 ) We had twin daughters, Tracy Dolores and Juliet Dawn Mixon, ( B. 12 / 06 / 1963.) You have Franklin Glenn Addy listed as a child of Mary Ella Nixon, his dates and info are: Franklin Glenn Addy ( B. 04 / 15 / 1900 D. 05 / 19 / 1949 ) He married Cecil Amelia Smith ( B. 09 / 07 / 1906 D. 01 / 01 /1995 ) of Jackson, Ga. They had two children, Wendall Glenn Addy ( B. 04 / 10 / 1933 D. 04 / 24 / 1933 ) and Barbara Jean Addy ( B. 03 / 31 / 1935 ) . Nellie Addy married Howard West after my Grandparents died and lived in Hamilton, Ga. I believe that you have a double listing for my Aunt Estelle Addy, Her first name too the best of my memory was Irma, but she went by Estelle. Regarding ID. I 2052 about Nellie Addy, the Model T Ford is still in the museum in Senoia, Ga. I took my Mother, Alma Kate Addy to see the car on her 80th birthday and met the owner of the museum. He has since died and also his son who took over the museum. I was their in June of this year. Hopefully, this info will be of some use to you and your web listings.
