The infant is buried next to Joseph & Susan (Peak) Nixon -- Alice's eldest sibling. . . also the time frame would fit Alice's statement in the 1900 census of "1/2 children living" ***Yes, per Alice's Grandson, Maynard Young, Jr., the baby was Alice's*** --------------------- ------------------------- Jan. 1901 - named Postmistress at Nixon P.O., located on the road between Senoia and Haralson. Per "The Herald and Advertiser", Newnan, Georgia, Friday, Jun. 28, 1901. -------------------------- 1900 Census - Coweta Co., GA; Haralson District ED 26, sheet 4, line 57; family #58-58 6 June 1990; married 7 years; 1/2 children living Living 2 doors from parents, Harrison & Elvira; and next to sisters Mary Ella (Nixon) Addy & Martha (Nixon) (Swygert) Burdette. From 1904 - 1958, Alice lived in the house on Bethel Road the is presently behind the Bank of Coweta on S.R. 16 diagonally across from Ellis Crook's big store. Attended Senoia Methodist Church after moving to house in Senoia in 1904.
