This is an error -- she died December 27, 1904 in Americus, Ga per her obituary pub, Dec 28, 1904 in "The Atlanta Constitution" * "The Atlanta Constitution" Atlanta, Georgia Wednesday, December 28, 1904 Mrs. Sue Lanier, Americus, Ga. Americus, Ga December 27 (Special) Mrs. Sue Lawson Lanier, relict of W. H. Lanier, a valiant confederate soldier died here this morning. She is survived by her sons Frank and Henry Lanier of Americus and Albany. Her remains were carried to West Point for interment.
