  Dear Mrs Freeman--
  I was doing some "work" on my Anderson relatives and came across your post, below, on USGen Web. My great-grandfather, Alexander Rufus "Major" Anderson, was a brother of the Katie J. Anderson you mention.
  I wonder if your husband is "any relation" to the Posie/Posey Freeman (9 Sep 1880-20 Dec 1962) who married Eula Lee Whatley, a granddaughter of Katie's sister Martha? Their children were Archie, Harold ("Boogie") and a daughter. It was a second marriage for them both and Posie had several children from his first marriage as well, according to a family history.
