I am looking for background on James M Meek who was born around 1870 or 1871 in Kentucky. One record said Carrollton, KY. His father was born in KY and his mother was born in Ireland. He married Dove J born in 1878 in KY, but they soon moved to Arkansas and lived in Little Rock at least from 1920 on. He was a Captain. They had three children: Virginia Meek Whitman, Mary Hannah Meek Nixon and Fetter Stickney Meek. I know the branches down, but have no information on James M Meek from the earlier days. Thank you!
