Note: grandad was a dark horse, i dont think,i will ever find out if his birthday is 21 apr, or even it was 1900,I dont know if he was irish welsh or english, my mum thought irish, but then my aunt pat thought welsh,? mum reckens he was married before he wed my nan, & that was why audrey & mum , were born out of wed lock,mum seems to think hooper was his former surname<? mystery in deed, also when my nan died after childbirth, grand dad was soon with another, a gladys gamble, in norwich, a son was born at sawley, a anthony "tony" just before my birth 1941, i have now found a marriage, & his sons marriage & 2 daugs born ,
I have a picture of g/dad in his royal airforce, I think it was taken on or near enough to their wedding day 1926, his ref/no on the birth certs of "Aunt Pat" were 340356
