Peter drew his lot for a consession in Adolphustown and lived there until about
1795 when he sold his farm and moved to a 300 acre plot he owned in Sophiasburgh.
This 300 acres was split into 2 150 acre plots, which were willed to his grandsons Peter
and Hildebrand, sons of Peter's son Hildebrand.
Peter was Treasurer of Sophiasburgh in 1810
