a. Note:   e liked warm cake, and his wife thought it wasn't good for you to eat warm cake, so he went to his daughter-in-law's house, Verdie, for warm cake. Brought his sweetie, Vi, a tomato plant as a gift, told her not to eat the fruit as it was poisenous. In the old days, they thought tomatoes were poisen. Called Vi "Old Blossom" when he was peeved at her. Said he had a brother that ran away from home at a very young age and never heard from again.
Note:   Broke one of his legs when he was older. It didn't set right, so he walked with a limp. H
