Note: ges 192-194 "Anna Crown Deed to Henry Prescott" "Know all men by this that I Ann Crown of Newcastle in the County of Rockingham in the province of Newhampshire Widow Relict of John Crown late of said Newcastle am Administrator of said Deseased Estate by virtue of Science from the jury of probate of wills--For and in consideration of the sum of eighteen shillings lawful money of said province--------to me in hand paid before the Delivery hereof by Henry Prescott of Newcastle aforesaid Merchant the receipt whereof I Do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained for and released--and by these presents Do give grant bargain Sell aliene release convey and confirm to him the said Henry Prescott Heirs and asigns----one whole Right or Share of Land in the Township of Topsham on the west side of Connectticut River now in the government of Newyork which Right is part of my said Husbands Estate by virtue of his name being entered on the charter of said Township as a original grantee------To have and to hold the said granter premises with the appurtenances thereof to him the said Henry Prescott his heirs and assigns to him and their proper use benefit and behoof forever thereby ingaging to warrant and Defend the said granter premises against all Claims or Demands of any persons or persons claiming by from or under me or under him the said John Crown---- In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third Day of March in the thirteenth year of his Magestys Reighn Annogue Domini 1773------" Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of us Joseph C.
