a. Note:   twin sister = Philomene. Owned a farm in Barton,Vermont. Also worked in the lumber industry.
 According to a granddaughter, he would often be gone for months at a time working in the woods.
  Daughter Louise was about 8 years old when they moved to Vermont. (about 1916?).
 Philomon died in bed, in their home across from Pageant Park in Barton.
 (Died of stomach cancer).
